Lugbook is a maintenance logbook for people who take care of their own vehicles. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking.

This is content you choose to enter to track your vehicles. It may include:
No advertising identifiers, no location tracking, no behavioral analytics, and no data from third-party trackers. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Lugbook lets you transfer a vehicle and its maintenance history to another person — for example, when you sell a car. If you initiate a transfer, the vehicle's records and attached photos become visible to the recipient you identify (by email). Only transfer what you intend to share. A transferred record reflects what was entered by its previous owner and is not independently verified by Lugbook.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the app. We share only what is needed for each service to function, and we do not sell data to anyone.
If we add subscription billing in the future, payments will be processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or a payment processor for web. We will update this policy before any such feature collects payment information, and we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your vehicles, maintenance records, schedules, and uploaded files from our systems. Note that records you previously transferred to another user remain with that user, as they are now the owner of that copy. Backups may persist for a limited period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls that restrict each user's data to that user. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Lugbook is not directed to children and is intended for users old enough to maintain a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Much of this is available directly in the app (you can view, edit, and delete your data and your account). For anything else, contact us at support@lugbook.app and we will respond within a reasonable time. We do not sell personal information.
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using Lugbook you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app where appropriate.
